About Us
Our story
African, Nigerian and Asian groceries, all in one shop
Zineeno’s is a grocery shop in Philadelphia. We stock the foods most supermarkets give one shelf, if any: semovita and egusi, Milo and Peak, Shin Ramyun and Mae Ploy. And we price them like everyday food, not speciality goods.

Why we opened
One trip, not two
A lot of families here shop twice. They go to the big store for the basics, then across town for what actually goes in the pot. We opened so you can skip that second trip.
We carry jollof seasoning, egusi, ogbono, garri and semovita, plus curry pastes, noodles and soy sauces from across Asia. All in the quantities people really cook with.
How we buy
How we keep prices steady
We buy straight from importers and distributors where we can, and by the pallet, not the case.
Direct from importers
We buy from the companies that bring the brands in, not another shop’s leftovers.
By the pallet
Buying in bulk keeps our prices steady, even on items that jump around elsewhere.
Fresh several times a week
Produce comes in several times a week, so nothing sits around.
