This is a starting point, not legal advice. Have it reviewed before you rely on it.
What we collect
When you place an order we collect the name, email address, telephone number and delivery address you give us, along with what you ordered and how it was paid for. If you create an account we keep those details so you don’t have to type them again. If you contact us, we keep the message and our reply.
Card details are handled by our payment provider and never reach us. We see only the outcome and the last four digits.
Why we hold it
- To pick, take payment for and deliver your order.
- To answer you when something goes wrong, and to handle a refund.
- To meet our tax and accounting obligations.
- To send you offers, but only if you asked us to. Every message has an unsubscribe link.
Who else sees it
Our payment provider, and Shopify, the e-commerce platform that processes orders for us. Nobody else outside the shop sees it unless the law requires it. We don’t sell customer data or pass your details to advertisers.
Cookies
The site uses cookies to keep your basket between pages, keep you signed in and remember your preferences. Favourites are stored in your own browser, not on our servers. You can manage optional cookies through Your Privacy Choices.
How long we keep it
Order records for as long as tax law requires. Account details until you ask us to close the account. Messages for as long as they’re useful to answering you.
Your choices
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold, or ask us to correct or delete it. We will, unless we’re required to keep the record. Contact us through the contact page.
